The Association confers two prestigious awards biennially.

This was later changed to recognise members who have contributed significantly to industry and is now regarded as second only to Honourary Membership in the recognition that can be awarded to a member.
The second is the Brian W. Bartlett Service to Industry Award that is awarded to persons, not necessarily members, who have contributed significantly to the industry.
Each year at least one accreditation workshop is conducted to train persons in hygenic rendering. From each course a student is chosen based on set criteria and ireceives the Reginald Evans Best Student Award.
